Over the last few months, you may have noticed some gradual — but significant — changes to Zero. Historically, we’ve focused exclusively on helping you create and maintain a fasting practice, and that’s probably why you’re here. While fasting is an excellent tool for achieving all sorts of health goals, that’s exactly what it is: a tool. And if you’re committed to losing weight, gaining health, and boosting longevity, it’s important to zoom out from fasting and consider health as a whole.
That’s why we’re expanding Zero to incorporate the Four Pillars of Health — Nutrition (which includes fasting), Activity, Sleep, and Restoration. They can stand on their own, but they’re even better when compounded together into daily healthy habits, like eating a nutritious meal before your workout or starting your fast 2–4 hours before bedtime.
Fasting is still a major piece of the health puzzle, so many in-app capabilities, like the Fasting Timer, will remain the same. You can also continue to expect fasting-related articles and videos. But to fully support your journey, we’re introducing two new features that will help you balance your health and keep you on track: the Loop and the Habit Tracker.
Visualize your journey and celebrate your wins across the Four Pillars of Health. As you log or sync your data, you’ll see the corresponding color for each Pillar added to the Loop. You can review the last seven days on the Today tab, or visit the Me tab for a calendar view of your progress. Watch as your smart choices add up over days, weeks, months, and years.
The Habit Tracker
Build actionable, data-driven habits with the Habit Tracker. Log your meals, workouts, and more by tapping on the “+” icon in the upper right corner of the Today tab. If you’re using your Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura, or other apps or wearables, you can sync them with Zero to make this a completely automated experience.
Zero helps you integrate fasting with the Four Pillars of Health to live better, longer. Ready to embark on a new chapter of your health journey? Visit the Today tab to explore everything the new Zero has to offer.
